Stepping Stone Threes - independent 3 year olds  

Stepping Stone Threes is a story time which develops independence from parents and caregivers.  The children practice readiness skills for school such as: taking turns, sharing, lining up, shapes, colors, counting, and the alphabet.  Music, dance, movement, simple crafts, and stories are used to discover and explore a different theme each week.  Guests also add to this experience by sharing their knowledge and interests with the children. The program meets on Wednesdays at 11AM.  

All of our story time programs focus on the six pre-reading skills of early literacy:  print motivation, sound awareness, vocabulary, alphabet knowledge, print awareness, and narrative skills.
